The Fraser Fir is considered one of the most popular varieties of Christmas tree in the United States. Fraser Fir has been used as the official Christmas tree of the White House more than any other species.
Fraser Firs originated on the highest slopes and summits of the Appalachian Mountains in southwestern Virginia, western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee.
